We look forward to seeing you at a performance soon.
Rave Reviews
Award winning pianists are a running theme in the 2013 concert series.  NFAF are hosting two winners of the prestigious Sydney International Piano Competition in Konstantin Shamray and Daniel De Borah.

In addition to Daniel’s May solo recital, he will also give two rare duo concerts with the ASQ’s Kristian Winther in June.

The star duo pairing recently earned a four star review from The Age’s Clive O’Connell.

Daniel is a great friend of Kristian and the ASQ, having shared the stage together during the new Quartet’s flagship tour in March 2012.

NFAF Director, Ulrike Klein is looking forward to recreating the musical synergy in the Adelaide Hills.

"Both Kristian and Daniel are tremendous musicians who are audience favourites for their generous and spirited performances. To secure them for our series is quite the coup”
, Ulrike said.

The concert takes place on 30 June at 11am.
Hear Australia's Finest Young Pianist
NFAF is thrilled to welcome piano virtuoso Daniel De Borah back to the concert series after recently being crowned Australia’s finest young pianist in the Australian National Piano Award.

In 2012, De Borah edged out 10 other pianists under the age of 35 to win the award.

After finishing high school in Canberra, he went to Russia's St Petersburg Conservatory aged 17 for undergraduate studies where he spent six years before studying a further two years at London's Royal Academy of Music.

As well as winning the $25,000 Australian National Piano Award, De Borah also won minor awards for the best performance of the music of Bach, and best performance of the music of Chopin - both with $1000 prize money.

NFAF has a long and proud history of presenting the world’s finest pianists including a sell out concert with Konstantin Shamray.

De Borah performs solo at the Ngeringa Farm on 19 May.  Limited seats remain for the concert.
